Hello, party people!

I’m Ellie and I live a wonderful life in the north of England. I crossed the tiny pond that is the Northern Sea a handful of years ago and have since explored and experienced some really fun things that I just love to share my opinion on.

Migrating to a new country comes with the unique ability to be able to talk about two sometimes very different types of culture and lifestyles. Two ways of living. I was born and raised in Germany and lived there until my late 20s, so I have a pretty good idea of what I am talking about, when I ask what the fuck is up with that. Some things just blow my mind years after first learning them and I’d be happy if only one other person reads my thoughts and might think “ah, that was actually a tiny bit useful.”

I’ve started this blog in July 2024. It’s a wee baby. Let’s see what it’ll grow into. But for now, happy exploring, happy learning new things, happy discovering things you might not even have thought about in a million years. Who knows!
